The G16 Prototype is a special variation of the G16 shape, created during the development process of the final mold. It wasn't the direction that Mike wanted to take with the G16 but it stood on its own to become a limited release shape.
Compared to the standard G16, the Prototype has steeper kicks, while the regular G16 is smoother and more mellow. This makes this Prototype feel more responsive, and makes tricks feel crisp.
G16 prototype decks are produced in very limited quantities, making them a unique option for anyone looming to try something a little different.
