Pick a piece up and the first thing you notice is the weight. Every one is solid stone all the way through, no hollow core, and the surface rides like polished concrete: smooth, hard, and fast under a wheel. That's why the line is called Monument: each piece is made the way a monument is made, poured into a mold, cured, and finished by hand, and it lands in your hand like one. Riding it feels like grinding the polished granite base of a statue in a city park, minus the security guard. The glass fiber holds the edges and corners where grinds hit hardest.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eSecond Generation Pour\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003eV2 is the second generation of Monument Crete, and more than the mix changed. The pour carries more glass fiber for tougher edges and corners, the molds are upgraded materials that cast a finer, cleaner surface, and the Sterling Gray pigment is slightly updated.
